This FSC-certified decking offers a natural alternative to composite and hardwood decking, especially for projects where real wood is architecturally preferable. Due to Claymark’s quarter-saw technique, Key Deck has a consistent straight grain that minimizes cracking and splintering. It is because of this technology plus the treatment protection against decay, that this natural timber offers the same durability and dimensional stability you would typically find in premium decking products.
Manufactured using only selected clear quarter-sawn wood from sustainably managed forests, we are able to offer very favorable tallies when compared to most other suitable real wood decking options. The high-quality surfaces are smooth to the touch and they are pre-finished with a unique natural oil and color infusion process in Cape Cod Grey or Highland Copper. This patented infusion coating provides excellent initial protection, and can be easily cleaned and re-coated with any oil based decking stain, or left to weather naturally depending on the desired aesthetic.
