PERMAPOST HI-CLEAR II™ TREATED WOOD

HI-Clear II™ is wood, pressure treated with IPBC and Permethrin wood preservatives. It provides fungicidal and insect protection for wood products in above ground uses. It is low toxicity and can be installed with a high degree of safety.

HI-Clear II treated engineered wood products may be used as beams, headers, posts, columns and for many other structural applications. There are several advantages to treatment with HI-Clear II over waterborne treatments, such as:

• No swelling or shrinkage
• Very little, if any, checking, cupping or twisting
• No reduction of design values

This HI-Clear II preservative system has a long service record when used as a wood preservative. The preservatives are listed in the standards of the American Wood Protection Association (AWPA). The preservative IPBC is widely used in cosmetics, paints and wood protection.

Hi-Clear II treated wood is intended for above ground use only and is effective against mildew, mold, insects and decay organisms.
